Procurement Working Party BIVDA’s Procurement Group is open to all members and meets  3 times a year to receive presentations and to discuss current procurement and related issues.  Topics covered have included procurement practices in the NHS, e-business, the role of NHS Supply Chain and the NHS Business Services Authority, CEP, payment for pathology service and a tariff and  increasing pseudo regulatory burdens on SMEs.  Meetings are always lively and well attended We also have a small Procurement Core Group to provide input to the secretariat, as well as a Payment System group that engages closely with the processes in the possible development of a tariff for pathology.
