This group addresses appropriate issues around blood glucose monitoring in relation to the drug tarrif, NHS suppy chain, patient safety and government policy regarding diabetes.
Now re-named Government Affairs Group, the Voice of Industry Group is changing the way it works. It will be targetting specific projects , such as the Cancer initiative to support NAEDI (national awareness & early diagnosis initiative) so that members with limited time can focus on activities in areas that are of direct benefit to their business. As with all BIVDA activities, any member can participate.

Interest in POC testing continues to gain momentum and it is now recognised that POC testing has a major role to play in redesigning services around the needs of the patient. Therefore the POC WP will be reformed in 2008.
